Testimonials
The whole experience at Recovery Physical Therapy was extremely positive. Kathy Loeschner is extremely knowledgeable with an excellent ability to gauge the patient's (my) position/angle and correct performance. Assistants Liz and Susan were well used when needed and always supervised. They in turn were well instructed and never hesitated to consult if a question arose. They are intelligent and perceptive young women.
Kathy was particularly sharp on picking up several problems not mentioned in my surgical record: scoliosis resulting in left leg shorter than right, an exward turn in my right foot ( that pulled the knee tendon in the wrong direction) due to the prolonged absence - 6 months or more - of the orthopedic inserts that had been prescribed. New inserts and a few adaptations by Kathy and all was fine.
I feel particularly strong and healthy, am walking regularly in increasing distances & speeds and have gained great 'stair strength' with instructions ( when asked) as to which exercises I can continue to increase.
My doctor and I are very pleased with the results. RPTC is smoothly run and effective. Overall, it's been a pleasure!

Dear Patrice,
I just wanted to thank you and your staff for helping me on my road to recovery with my new knee. From our first meeting, when you explained the goals, what we were going to do and why, I knew I'd chosen the right therapy center. I am grateful for your personal attention, also. I knew you had my best interests at heart and I didn't feel like just another patient. Your encouragement made me want to go that extra little bit.
Shannon was also very caring and supportive of everything I did. She'll make a great therapist someday if she stays in the field.
I also appreciate Kathy and Jenny's undivided attention the week they took over for you. Had I been under their care the whole time, I feel I'd have done well, too.
Thanks to all of you for making me so welcome and being a part of my recovery. You can bet I'll be back next year when I have the other knee done.
Sincerely,
K. Falerios
Recently my Doctor recommended I should try physical therapy again just to make sure I was doing exercises right. As my last session with a therapist was not the best in the world, I tried to talk him out of it. Of course he insisted. After putting it off for a week before I would even make the call, I dialed the dreaded number. All prepared to be my most unpleasant self, I was very much surprised when a lady with a smile in her voice answered the phone and put me at ease. After the usual setting up of time and billing info I looked at my appointment not with the dread I had expected, but with, "OK, I can get through this." For this, I just want to say, Thank You Phyliss.

"I was referred to RPTC by my pain management specialist. In addition to shoulder injury, I also have had chronic neck and back problems over the past 15 years, as well as knee surgery 3 years ago. Having been to other physical therapists before, I was impressed on my first visit with how thorough & professional the staff was. We started with the basics of posture, and then moved on from there. I couldn't believe I had not been instructed on this before! Rather than telling me what to do and going off to help another client, Kathy stayed with me, making sure I was always doing things correctly.
After completing my 12 visits, I am virtually pain free! I have continued with many of my exercises to continue with strengthening and to prevent future problems. Having been to other physical therapy centers, I would highly recommend Recovery Physical Therapeutic Center. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but most importantly, my treatments were effective in heading off surgery."

"When I first started physical therapy, I was in a lot of pain in my back& neck and could not do things I was used to doing. After about a month, I became stronger & I wasn't in constant pain. I started feeling more normal. I believe it was the teaching and therapy I received. By teaching I mean being aware of by body...how I'm standing & sitting and finding the inner muscles that I didn't know I had. The importance of taking time to care for myself by daily stretching out and the doing the exercises I learned will be taken with me the rest of my days. This was very helpful to me."

"This is a note to let you know that we just got back from Florence, Italy. I was able to climb to the top of the Cathedral, some 463 steps. I also climbed the tower of Pisa! I just thought I should thank you because I couldn't have made this trip anytime in the past 3 years since I injured my knee. Thanks for all your help & encouragement."

"As a practice management tool, we ask patients how they came to us for physical therapy. Some find us in the phone book or from their insurance carrier, but most patients are directly referred by their physicians or by word of mouth from past patients. Recently a patient told us she was referred to another facility, but her husband who drives a Dial-a-Ride bus told her to come to Recovery Physical Therapeutic Center. He said he frequently transports people to RPTC and when he comes to pick them up after their treatment, they are always happy & have nothing but good things to say about their experience. As a therapist & practice owner, this is one of the best referrals I can imagine! We look forward to the opportunity to assist you with your physical therapy needs. Our goal is to Empower You to Better Health."
